Inputs
Made a very lovely braised pork stir fry over the weekend, that’s about the only interesting ‘inputs’ if you like. Or maybe The Big Daddy Pistachio chocolate thing from Marks & Spencer. I’m not really supposed to eat pistachios and I’m feeling pretty awful now but it was soooooooo worth it
Outputs
Started some early systems mapping for a bit of work, although it’s proving to be quite challenging due to lack of insights so basing it on assumptions and will have to validate later
Sidequests
Enjoyed driving a new Volvo XC40 Black Edition for a few days whilst my car was being service, it was only supposed to be in for the day but ended up having an overnight stay. Didn’t love the bill though!
On the subject of systems mapping using limited knowledge and assumptions—at what point do you have to say ‘we need to pause and gather more data before I continue?’ I understand that taking an assumptions-based approach to design has to be done sometimes but there’s got to be a line somewhere that you have to draw when you are really stuck due to lack of available data/insight?
Bugs
The wind was a bit much. Felt like I was going to blown in to the River Tay on Monday…
